Our Committee is here to support both our staff and members. Their goal is to ensure the club runs smoothly while providing a fun and safe environment for everyone involved.
I've been a member of the club for over 20 years and have made a lot of friends. I enjoy being part of the golf society and have been involved in lots of other activities arranged by the club. It really is a lovely place to bring my friends and family, and I enjoy being part of the committee. We all work very hard and strive to represent the members as best as we can. We encourage suggestions and feedback as we want the club to work for everyone.
I first belonged to the Windsor Club some 28 years ago it was a very welcoming, unfortunately I left the area so left the club. I subsequently moved back to the area and rejoined the club, It has been lovely to see how the extremely committed team of people keeping it running smoothly and making it so welcoming which just makes you want to take part.
I've been a member for nearly twenty years, using the club to socialise and play bingo. I have been a team member in a bingo hall also calling some of the time. I've also worked in several pubs including managing one in Edinburgh. I am looking forward to aiding the club to progress into the future.
I have been on the Committee since about 1993 and have been the Club Secretary all of that time. In 2002 when we became a Limited Company I found myself as the Company Secretary. I’ve also been responsible at times for correspondence, personnel and written some the contributions to the PCA Magazine. I have also been the Membership Secretary for the last seven years. I have supported the Club with others through covid and all through the years I have worked for the club.
I joined the club as a member back in 2018 after relocating to Polegate from London. After enjoying its atmosphere and fun entertainment, I joined the committee a couple of years ago aiming to help maintain the success of the club and preserve its future. Our club is a very special place where strangers become friends and I love being a part of it.
I am Mark Purnell, I have been a member of the Windsor Club for some 20 Years and on the Committee for four years. I look after the Maintenance of the Club. I enjoy the very friendly atmosphere of the members of the club. The nice thing about the club is that everyone is made to feel welcome.
I joined the club in November 2022 with Debbie and my Son, I love the friendliness of the members and staff and the relaxed atmosphere. I was co-opted onto the committee to organise the entertainment throughout the year, I have many contacts from working on charity events with many performers, actors and singers. I hope everyone likes the variety of events we put on.
Due to essential maintenance work we will be unable to sell draft ales, lagers and ciders on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th January.
Normal service should resume from Sunday 11th January.
